You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Edge End Road this occurred between Sunday 29th March 00:00hrs and Monday 30th March 00:00hrs, the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

between the times stated, suspects entered a property through the back door. The lock had been snapped, and the suspects carried out an untidy search inside the home, causing damage. They left the scene before police arrived.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between the above dates and times to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
